They say your first kiss should be earned.
Mine was stolen by a devil in a masquerade mask under the black Chicago sky.
They say the vows you take on your wedding day are sacred.
Mine were broken before we left church.
They say your heart only beats for one man.
Mine split and bled for two rivals who fought for it until the bitter end.
I was promised to Angelo Bandini, the heir to one of the most powerful families in the Chicago Outfit.
Then taken by Senator Wolfe Keaton, who held my father’s sins over his head to force me into marriage.
They say that all great love stories have a happy ending.
I, Francesca Rossi, found myself erasing and rewriting mine until the very last chapter.
And somewhere between these two men, I had to find my forever.
Where do I even begin when it comes to reviewing The Kiss Thief? L.j. Shen is an amazing author!
The story started out with me rooting for Angelo, Francesca’s childhood crush. I mean how could I not root for him!? At first I really despised Wolfe, but there was something about him that left my heart open a bit for him and realized he wasn’t as bad or as mean as he was letting on. Or at least I hoped so! I kept that space open in my heart even through the tough things that were said/done to Francesca, and thank GOODNESS I did, because I loved Francesca and Wolfe together! But do they stay together? Does Francesca reunite with Angelo?
I don’t want to give away too much, so, read this amazing story and find out!
